Tram Dinner Experience
Christchurch’s iconic Tramway Restaurant is a memorable and unique dining option with a range of services perfect for groups. Operating for over 22 years as the country’s only restaurant on a restored heritage tramcar, the Tramway Restaurant can accommodate up to 36 guests over two seating sections.
The dinner package departs from Cathedral Junction, where your group will receive a welcome drink followed by a four-course meal (starter, entrée, main, and dessert), finishing with tea or coffee. A wine pairing option is also available.
Choose from the private hire of the whole tram seating up to 36 people or the private hire of one of the two seating sections seating 12 or 24 guests. This option is perfect for corporate functions, birthday or anniversary celebrations, and more.
